I treat myself with all those things, I did almost all the internet business courses, but clients still don’t come, and worse, I feel more scared than ever…”
A reader asked me, who preferred to remain anonymous.
Dear anonymous reader and everyone who ask the same questions:
Your ability to grow your business and attract ideal clients is largely impacted by your relationship with Money and Abundance, which, at the root, is determined by your relationship with your most innate gifts.
When you stop feeling ashamed by your gifts, you radiate more freely, you cultivate your inner magnetism so naturally that draws all interesting people and support into your life.
They are in awe of your devotion to your gifts.
They are curious with how much you are in the flow, and want to find out how they can do the same for themselves.
Some of them become your clients so easily that you don’t even need to convince them anything.
In order to be of service and attract your ideal clients, you MUST learn how to love yourself first.
But perhaps you forgot about the most important way to love yourself.
Sure, beautiful clothes, design, hairstyle, vacation can help you relax and enjoy life more. But if you approach it from an empty place, trying to fill a void in you, it doesn’t matter how much money you spend on the treats, how many courses you buy, the void is still there, yearning for more attention from you.
People constantly look for the next big “trigger” to feel better or chase the next high. But those treats are NEVER the cure, unless you love yourself as who you are.
Who are you?
Until you rediscover your most innate gifts, appreciate them and honour them, you won’t be able to nail the answer.
You might say, “But I’ve done the self-love work a few years ago. I’ve read such and such books.”
Oh darling, this piece will NEVER be done and dusted. If you are upleveling right now, it is likely you are being invited by your soul to search for a deeper meaning of self-love.
- Have the courage to express who you are, at the core, at an even deeper level than before, stop looking for permission from those “authority figures”.
- Stop following other people’s blueprint, develop more trust to do things in a way that lights you up. Break some rules if you must.
- Embrace who you are, wildly and fiercely, attract more people who are capable of witnessing the most authentic you, and release those who are not available.
Easier said than done. I know.
Let me share a story with you.
Just a couple of years ago, I knew that I wanted to build a lighthouse and help people. One of the most acceptable ways (then) of doing so was to become a life coach. The authority figures told me to get certified with the biggest coaching institution, use NLP to close the sales on spot and keep upselling.
My brain was spinning around and my heart was rejecting this whole “model.” Don’t get me wrong – those models have their place. But I intuitively knew that I could do better.
Better here means: I can share my most innate gifts better. I thrive on being that type of teacher who can set their students free. I’m called to be an intuitive reader & mentor, and above all, a writer who writes as healing in motion. What I was taught is simply not in alignment with who I am. Why should I follow their blueprints and bury my gifts?
Unfortunately I was brought up in a way to bury my gifts. And I was insecure: hey, they’ve been around for years, surely they know better than I do, right?
There were intense inner conflicts. I fought, fought and fought…
The result? Well, there was not much result. Because I was hiding my most profound gifts. Although I freed myself from the office cubicle, I was trying to squash myself into different boxes and letting the labels define me.
Until I became so frustrated that I had to honour me as who I am, at the core. Coming out of my psychic closet was terrifying, but I was much happier, every ounce of me was more relieved.
And ideal clients came to me.
Gradually, the 9-5 “professional” dresses don’t present me anymore. I changed my wardrobe, only because I want to wear clothes that reflect my most authentic self. I go to spa and massages frequently as it’s part of my self-care routine. They don’t fill a void in me. I was already immersed by self-love.
It worked this way, inside out.
Not the other way around.
Most of us are afraid of our brilliance, and they’ve abandoned themselves all the way along.
That’s more of a reason for light beings like you to peel away all those artificial layers and shine straight from your core, raw and beautiful.
Honouring yourself is not easy to do, but that’s is the start of true freedom, passion and cures (and so called conversion). It’s so worth it and even necessary.
Listen up, what I am really trying to say is:
You can only be who you are. There is nothing about you that needs to be fixed. (tweet this)
The sooner you accept it and embrace it, the easier to receive Abundance from the world. Because it’s such a natural flow, you might not even be able to distinguish the giving and receiving.

and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow.
Today I call it “MATURITY”.
As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance,
I am in the right place at the right time,
and everything happens at the exactly right moment.
So I could be calm.
Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE”.
As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time,
and I stopped designing huge projects for the future.
Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do
and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm.
Today I call it “SIMPLICITY”.
As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health –
food, people, things, situations, and everything the drew me down and away from myself.
At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism.
Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”.
As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right,
and ever since I was wrong less of the time.
Today I discovered that is “MODESTY”.
As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worry about the future.
Now, I only live for the moment, where everything is happening.
Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT”.
As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me
and it can make me sick.
But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally.
Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.
We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems
with ourselves or others.
Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born.
Today I know “THAT IS LIFE”!”

That is often how many of us feel. People don’t believe or understand and it is difficult to get clients. I’ve tried giving free demo’s of Reiki at Health Fairs.
Even in a small town, I’ve had a few people who are open to receive.

During the 1990’s when the Internet was new I set up a community to bring like minded individuals together on the old msn groups for individuals to uniquely share their light and express themselves, and that is where I gathered with like minded individuals, because I figured if there are not people on the same level then I will create the hub and bring the people together so they too share their light and are free to be themselves xx

Very beautifully written. I like your work. To trust authority figures and not trust your own gifts maybe a foolish idea. So many people who can share their gifts, fail to do so because they trust conditioning more than their gifts! They feel even their gifts need approval, a validation from some outside authority.
The “compassion”, the “love”, the “presence” can never be taught in a Life Coaching Class or in a NLP Class. They are all beyond the realm of mind. Trust the Manufacturer i.e Divine even if you can trust yourself! The Manufacturer is Divine love and intelligence, somewhere the product i.e. You, would also have these divine qualities.
“What is I can share with the world?” is a far better question than “Can I share with the world or Am I capable of sharing with the world?”. Who decides whether you are capable or not to teach, to write, to coach, to help? Were all your teachers Einsteins in all they taught? Do only Einsteins teach, coach and write?
How is it I can contribute to making somebody’s life better? is another beautiful question to ask.
