Aprendí la importancia de estar súper en sintonía con tus necesidades., allowing your intellect, heart and intuition to find new ways of working together, in response to any changes.
Meanwhile my relationship with vibrations of images, colours and sounds deepened. (Not sure how else I can function otherwise.)
When we are stressed out or consumed by anxiety, we tend to make snappy decisions that are not good for our wellbeing, or forget about our true power.
Luckily benevolent sounds, colours and expansive images can be very uplifting and transformational, which serve as buffers to help our nervous system recover.
In recent years, as the world events unfolded, we have witnessed and experienced a lot of separation and hurt. Because we all have individual bodies, this can give us an illusion that we are all separated. Este “I against you, we vs them” mentalidad, though convincing, no es verdad.
It may sound like a cliché, but we are all one, children of Mother Nature, interwoven and connected. It doesn’t matter if we have similar or different backgrounds, genders, skin tones or accents, the longing to lead a life that is an authentic expression of our Spirit is the same, the desire of being seen and loved and held and supported is universal.
Even the underlying pain, which may separate opinions and groups, is coming from a similar place.
Wearing masks vs not wearing masks, pro vaccine vs against vaccine…when some of us hold strong point of views, on the surface, the other side can be ridiculous, “How could they think like that! Absolutely outrageous!”, you feel it very strongly.
It’s funny that we can get on to the Moon but struggle to sympathise with another heart if their preferences and experiences are different; we understand protons and electrons, yet cannot overcome our fixated judgement.
Sin embargo, if we look deeper into it. Peeling off layers and layers of opinions, we get closer to the collective consciousness, just look at the pain on their face, without any prescribed conclusion…the pain of not being accepted, the pain of not being taken into consideration, the pain of freedom being taken away, the pain of not knowing how best to look after your loved ones…are actually shared by your opponents.
The underlying pain from different opinion groups are similar, no matter how divisive on the surface.
I’m not saying that by adopting this way of thinking, it will immediately answer all your questions. I have my own limitation of perceptions, plus this short post cannot possibly cover everything. I’m fully aware of it.
Sin embargo, seeing how similar the underlying pains are, hopefully this can evoke the faith that’s already in us.
May you stay well in this turbulent time.
Con amor,
Yiye Zhang 章一叶
