Maybe you resonate, us humans are just a small part of this vast, amazing, ever-evolving world.
When we tune into our Intuition, we see places, countries, surroundings and seasons more as characters instead of settings. They are all beings, living and breathing, just like us.
There has been a long legacy between the human world and the plant realm.
Plants sustain, revive and provide for life in all forms on this planet.
We cultivate and harvest them and they have served us as food, medicine, clothing and tea.
Global lockdown has revealed the best and the worst of our relationship with Nature. The plant realm has always been communicating with us humans, and this year, the nudge is increasingly pressing.
These are some messages I hear from the greens, flowers and seeds, which they want us to know:
Before picking us, in the wild or your own garden, please ask us if it is OK. Mostly, it will be a YES, but it would be good if we get asked first.
We appreciate reciprocity. When you cut off a lot of us for whichever the reason, please plant some seeds in the same area.
We prefer living with the presence of our relatives and family (ie, other plants), so we’d really appreciate if you can grow a few of us together.
Once you have planted us and cared for us, we see you as our family too. One of our favourite things is to greet you when you see us, and love you whether you can see us or not, even if you have been busy and neglected us.
Many of us have powerful medicinal properties, the key is to use the right dose under the right circumstance, and understand how to group us together for the best effect. If you suffer from chronic conditions, be open-minded, just try us.
If you need a kind, patient, faithful listener, we are always here for you and we never judge.
Here are some of the messages I have received. Maybe you’ve had your own communication with the plant realm too.
Even in the most lonely days, we don’t have to suffer from loneliness that our mind makes us feel. Get to know the plant kingdom, we will start seeing friends, allies and even family everywhere we go.
